They should be at one billion within a week. Touchtunes an Illinois based company specializes in coin-operated digital jukeboxes has already passed one billion. Guess what? Nielson Soundscan has announced that they will be reporting digital download sales. So if you are a record company digital downloads is one area you don't want to sleep on. Sales in digital downloads have increased from 700 million to like 2.2 billion in a 2-3 year span. One company capitalizing off of this is IODA a digital download distributor(try saying that three times) for independent record labels you can check them out here:
